Testimonials

It was a really easy thing including Jake on the BRDC Rising Stars programme. He’s great in front of a camera, a real enthusiast and has a real passion for the sport. His driving is the main thing; naturally quick – he’s fast in testing, qualifying and the race – he’s fast at every track, regardless of the weather, and always races hard. The ‘Rising Stars’ programme is about identifying future British champions – there’s no doubt in my mind Jake has what it takes to be a top Professional Racing Driver.

Tim Harvey – President of the British Racing Driver’s Club ‘Rising Stars’ programme 1992 British Touring Car Champion, 2008, 2010 Porsche Carerra Cup GB Champion

To test a car like the SLS at a difficult circuit like Portimao is a big challenge for a young driver, especially with no experience of a GT3 car. Jake impressed the team with his approach, and mostly his speed, His lap times would have put him on pole position for the FIA GT3 race the year before. A very special performance - I hope we can see Jake racing with Mercedes in the future, in GT3 or even one day in DTM. Everyone at HEICO Motorsport was really impressed.

Bernd Schneider – 5 times DTM Champion, Former F1 driver, development driver for the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3.

He’s a little star. A lovely kid, always smiling, a real character. Just what you want from a young driver – lot’s of personality and mega quick in a car. I knew him when he was about 11 helping out Red Line Racing when I was racing in the Porsche Carerra Cup – he made a big impression on me then – I’d love to race with him alongside me in the future, that’s how good he is.

Richard Westbrook – 2006, 2007 Porsche Supercup Champion, 2009 FIA GT2 Champion, Factory driver, Corvette Racing.

Jake is the most promising kid I've ever had come through my workshop.

Mike Flounders - Tollbar Racing.

Jake is certainly a gifted young man who has the talent and the determination to achieve a serious career in motorsport.

Matt Neal – 2005, 2006, 2011 BTCC Champion.
